Our Story
Character, poured slow.
Tanzania has long been part of the world's spice story, from the clove groves of Zanzibar to the everyday kitchens of the mainland, where cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and cloves are less an ingredient than an inheritance. Victor Rose 8 takes that inheritance as its starting point: a spiced liqueur shaped by the same botanical instincts that define Tanzanian cooking, translated into a considered pour.
"Time is infinite. Take your time."
The Spices of Tanzania
Victor Rose 8 begins in the Usambara Mountains, where Tanzania's rich botanical landscape has long nurtured aromatic spices and botanicals of remarkable depth and character. We source our spices from the Usambara Mountains, selecting them for their fragrance, warmth and natural intensity, each chosen for the role it plays in shaping Victor Rose 8's distinctive character.
Crafted in Tanzania
Victor Rose 8 brings together carefully selected spices and botanical extracts with a refined fermented spirit base, creating a distinctive balance of warmth, aroma and depth. Spices are carefully prepared and extracted before being fermented and blended with the resulting spirit, allowing their character to develop without overwhelming the final expression. The liquid is then refined and rested before bottling.
Extract. Refine. Balance.
Whole spices are prepared and extracted to capture their aromatic character. Their botanical profile is then carefully integrated, refined and rested to achieve the distinctive character of Victor Rose 8.
